Bidvertiser: 1 month’s report

Associate-O-Matic

As we have said in our earlier posts, on our make money online blog we will test various methods of making money online and we will post some reports as soon as we have some results with them.

For the beginning, it’s time to post a monthly earnings report about Bidvertiser. Well, a very short one :)

As you may have seen, I’ve placed two ads on our blog: a 468×60px in posts, in a very prominent place, and a 200×250px in the right sidebar. We didn’t place ads in our RSS feed, first because we didn’t have too many subscribers and second, we wouldn’t annoy our readers.

Even if in our first month we have about 7500 unique visitors, we received 2 clicks on the 468×60 ad and 6 clicks on the 200×250 ad. So we have earned in a month $1.45. Also we have referred 3 people, but they didn’t earn anything yet. And neither did we.

Maybe we should change the ads position, to see what will happen. But I think that the situation will not change too much.

A possible conclusion could be that people who visit a make money online blog are too familiar with such kind of ads and they simply don’t want to click on them, or the information presented through those ads aren’t interesting for them.

Our conclusion? Bye bye Bidvertiser. It’s time to try another advertising program. You will see soon what, so stay tuned to read our next reports.
