I’ve just started my blog, and I used only AdSense, but it doesn’t perform very well, so I’m thinking to try Bidvertiser. Thank you for the article, I’ll let you know about my results.

Thanks for the feedback Diana. It took me 2 days to get approved with Project Wonderful. I applied last Friday, and by mid-day on Monday morning my site was approved. From what I read on the Internet, they dont approve sites or work on weekends. I do have Bidvertiser on my list of ad providers to evaluate too, and I think your comment above will trigger me to go apply for a bidvertiser account today.

You can display Bidvertiser and Adsense on the same page, as long as you choose different color schemes for Bidvertiser ads. Take a look at Google’s answer:

“You’re welcome to display Google ads on the same site or page as other third party advertisements provided that the formatting or colors of the third party ads is different enough from that of the Google ads. In other words, if you choose to place non-Google ads on the same site or page as Google ads, it should always be clear to the user that the ads are served by different advertising networks and that the non-Google ads have no association with Google. If the formats are naturally similar, we ask that you choose different color schemes for the competing ads.”

Regarding Bidvertiser, they don’t mention anything about displaying their ads along with other ads on the same page.

I’ve subscribed to Project Wonderful 2 days ago and I still wait for our blog to be accepted. I’ve just started to say that PW and Bidvertiser didn’t sound similar to me, but I realize that the concepts are kind of similar. But Bidvertiser displays text ads from a specific category (so if you have a niche blog you can say that there are contextual ads) while Project Wonderful displays the advertiser banner.

Since I’m new to both of these systems, I don’t know yet which program brings more money to your blog.

But after 1-2 months we will be able to display some results (if Project Wonderful will accept our blog), and we will make the difference.

Do you know if it is acceptable to have both Bidvertiser Ads and Google Adsense ads on your blog? Would having both violate the Google Adsense terms of service?

Also, have you tried project wonderful? If so, what do you think about project wonderful vs. Bidvertiser. I have not used Bidvertiser but am using Project Wonderful. They sound very similar but was hoping someone has used both and can give a first hand account!
