I love your Cappuccino Free Wordpress Theme. With some minor tweaking, I would love to use it as the theme to my site, Film-Book dot Com. First off, could you offer the theme in different colors, specifically black, grey, green, blue and silver?
Second, I need to change Cappuccino Theme title at the top of the theme to the title of my Blog but your theme will not let me. That should be addressed.
Third, under Subscribers is your number of subscribers. I need the option to put in my own feedburner subscriber count clicket.
Fourth, your theme editor will not let save changes to the theme. Saving theme changes needs to be enabled for many reason, including advertising.
Fifth, I love the Custom Image Header Theme option (750×200) that my current theme, MistyLook 3.5, has and having the option of changing the Image Header to whatever I want. If you could add that to Cappuccino in some form, you will make my day. Also, consider adding the ability to have a rotation of Header Images, an unlimited rotation, so that each time you click on a different or new page , a new Header Image is displayed. There is already a script for this but having it integrated from the start would be a great help. All a person would have to do is upload all the Header Images he wants displayed, press enable and he’s ready to go.
I love the popularity plugin you added to the theme. Very nice. I am severely tempted to just use your theme as is except the name of my blog isn’t at the top of the page in addition to the other tweaks I have laid out.
Your theme is almost where it needs to be for it to be my website’s permanent theme and the permanent theme of a lot of people. It just needs a few backend tweaks here and there. Please let me know what you think of my tweaks and the questions I have asked. I would very much like to use your theme. When you reply to this comment, I will be notified by e-mail. Thank you

First of all, thanks for your appreciation!
1. Yes, I can make the theme in different colors. You named five. What color do you like most? I will start with that.
2. That is a logo, in .png format. If you read the readme.txt from the archive, you will find how you can change it. I can make that without logo (image), but it will not appear with shadow. Only if I find a way to make shadows from css.
3. Just copy your feed count code, open header.php and paste there, on line 82.
4. The theme doesn’t have an editor. But if you can’t save the changes, you probably must change your theme directory’s permission. Go in your CPanel -> File Manager -> go in your theme’s director and change file permissions to 0644.
5. I will study this problem, but I don’t know yet if I’ll add to the theme.
1. Start with white first then silver then the rest.
2. I’ve just been using the editing option and its not turning out well. When I erase the words “Cappuccino Theme” I also erase the coloring so that there is a giant white bar in the middle.:sad: I definitely want my website’s name at the top of the theme. I would like to be able to just type it in, whatever name I choose and have it appear in the appropriate place on screen, like on John Chow’s website.
3.How do I place my entire feedburner clicklet there, not just my feed number? My number of subscribers changes so manually changing it everyday would become tedious. If not, can I eliminate the clicket image entirely from under Subscribers? I can just add my own clicklet somewhere else on screen.
4.I just change the permission. I’ll see what difference it makes when it comes to saving code changes.
5.If you add a Custom Image Header Theme option (750×200), especially with a rotation option, your theme will skyrocket from great to fantastic.
In any event, I can’t wait to see the White Cappuccino Theme.

After I changed one of my themes from 0755 to 0644, Wordpress couldn’t find the style.css file for the theme and the theme wouldn’t function so I had to change it back.

Don’t change the directory permission, but the files permission.
I’m a laymen. The first time I opened up my cPanel’s File Manger was today. Hopefully I will be able to distinguish between file and directory permission.
Anyway, I’ve been using Cappuccino and found a glitch. When I click a single post and it is displayed, my MyBlogLog widget is displayed halfway in my sponsor links and the all of the other advertisements and widgets are pushed underneath the comment box. If you want to check it out, I will leave your theme active for five more minutes.
Also, at the bottom of the Cappuccino front page, there is no link that says: “Next Page” or “Previous Page” or “Previous Entries.” This should be added to Cappuccino as it helps with navigation.

I’ve tested MyBlogLog and I don’t see any problem.

If you want your blog name instead of logo image, open header.php, and replace on line 22:

Then, open style.css and add this code:
Now, you will have the blog title and a description too.
Unfortunately, it won’t look so nice like the logo-image.
For the Feed Count chicklet:
Go to your FeedBurner Account -> Publicize (top) -> Feed Count (left), and then copy the code for your chicklet.
Open header.php and replace the entire line 82.
But I saw you don’t have your feedburner link displayed for subscriptions. Maybe you want to read one of my older articles:

Yes! But if you want your blog’s name to be displayed as in the theme (with shadow), just send me the name and I’ll send you the logo. Then, all you have to do is to copy the file in the Cappuccino/images directory.

I will load your theme between eight and nine am tomorrow morning so that you can click a post and see what I mean about the widgets,advertisements and Mybloglog. Actually, I will load your theme now. It’s cool to look at…besides the glitches.
First I have to enable the save option for your theme then I can save the changes to the title of the theme. I have to find file permission first though. Thx for the instructions and code.
I’m not going to display my feed count until its at 50 or above but I want the option ready and waiting when it gets there.

I saw you are using the old Mybloglog widget, so I’ve tested with an old code
The navigation links are in the current Cappuccino Theme.
You can delete the FeedCount line and ad it later. It’s very easy.
Almost forgot.
The posts and comments do not have a line separating then. You don’t know where one begins and another ends. That should be addressed. It would look more professional and neater if it did.
One more note. When a post is displayed, the full post is displayed. Maybe incorporating a summary option would be cool so that a person is only seeing part of your post on the front page (like on this website http://www.firstshowing.net/) and then has to click to see the full post. That would be a coo option: full post on the front page or a summary (the first few lines of the post).

In the index page are displayed the excerpts. When you display a post, obviously it will be displayed entirely. The site you gave me uses the same technique

As I can see, on your index page you have the MyBlogLog displayed under the Top Commentators widget. But on the post page, you don’t have the Top Commentators widget
I think this is the cause. You must fix this, because it isn’t from my theme.
I have the Related Posts and Post Rating plugins activated yet they aren’t showing up with the Cappuccino theme. Is this something that can be addressed because I value these plugins?
I sent you an email with my blog title and I’m looking forward to the different color presentations for the Cappuccino theme.

Cappuccino wasn’t designed to work with those 2 plugins, by default. You must add a little piece of code in your template (single.php) in order to work.

Thanks a lot for these free themes! The first one is what exactly I wanted for my blog, and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it for free here
I just need to know when I change my theme, will I need to upload all the plugins again and activate them…and will they work well with no problem?
It would also be great if you could help me with how I can change the colors, add pages at the top, add my blog’s name as the one at my header.

Usually, when you change your theme, you don’t have to deactivate your plugins. But some plugins requires adding in your template some little piece of code, so if you have such plugins, you have to add those codes in your new template.
