AdGridWork: free advertising
While I was writing Free traffic for your blog I discovered another source of free traffic through free advertising, AdGridWork. Since they promise a lot of traffic, I wanted to give it a shot. Let’s see what it’s all about.
How it works?
The registration is free. You will configure a text banner (which is very easy) and it will be displayed on other sites/blogs from AdGridWork network. All you have to do to configure your ad is to complete a form with your site/blog/product details.

Private Ads Selling: Myth Or Reality?
We’ve got a couple of questions from people wanting to know how to draw advertisers to their blogs. I suppose this question was born from reading some “advice” on high traffic blogs, that the best revenue stream for a blog is private ads selling.
Let’s put it the other way around: let’s suppose you are an advertiser: you run your own business and you want to advertise it. You agree to reinvest part of your profits back into advertising every month. This could mean that you eat less, you drink less, you don’t go to Maldives on vacation, with the sole purpose of putting that money in advertising your business.
Now think: given what I’ve just told you, would you agree to buy an ad box in my sidebar? Would you pay me $30 a month for it?
Your next question: “what are my benefits of advertising in your sidebar?” (please argue this if you think it’s wrong)
Me: well, you get all my 10000 readers per month looking at your ad, clicking on your ad and buying your product.

What does a blogger who writes about making money online do in the first day of every month?
Of course, he publishes his earnings from the previous month, so the readers see how much money he made. And most of the time, these are really hilarious. To be proud that you made $20 from AdSense last month, and in the same time to teach people how to make money from AdSense is something beyond common sense and understanding. How To Make A Sitewide Disclosure Policy
If you decided to make money online with the paid to post model, then you need to know that more and more, the advertisers require a sitewide disclosure policy, rather than an in-post disclosure. That’s because also advertisers are afraid of being caught by Google that they buy links, and get de-indexed. And this is true: if Google catches either you or the advertiser doing these paid reviews, your site will lose the PR and eventually it will end up de-indexed, so it won’t show in the search results not even for it’s own name.

If we were to re-write a version for the internet, it would sound like this: All you need is links… links is all you need!
Let me tell you this story: before going into internet marketing, I used to have a brick and mortar business. By the time I started it, I thought it’s going to be cool, but pretty soon after it turned profitable I realized I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life doing that kind of business. So, one day I stepped out, with enough money in my account as to secure a decent living for about two years.
Thinking at the future, I started to search for niches, to start something else. Doesn’t it sound very well like finding online niches and building websites to target them?

Free Wordpress Theme: Elegant Blue
As we noticed a lot of interest in new Wordpress themes, we’ve just released our second Wordpress free theme. At the suggestion of one of our readers, Elegant Blue Theme was born.
Elegant Blue is a variation of the GreenMoney Theme, with the same characteristics: two columns, widgets-ready, WordPress 2.3.x compatible. Elegant Blue Wordpress theme is valid CSS and XHTML. It comes with pre-defined spaces for advertising and it is optimized for search engines.

Make Some Money Fast With The 1k Tuesday
This is a post which is of interest only for those of you who are members of IZEA (PayPerPost).
If you have never heard of the 1k Tuesday before, now it’s the time for you to find out that it’s back: in order to encourage bloggers to join their services, IZEA re-launched the 1k Tuesday, which consists of the following:
- Every Tuesday, 11 review opportunities are released by PayPerPost between midnight and 11:59 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
Ten of the opportunities are worth $50.00 each, and the 11th one is worth $500, which surely is good money for a 300 words review, isn’t it? - All bloggers who have at least one blog approved for PPP Marketplace will be able to see these opportunities, without any restriction of Page Rank, or traffic, or Real Rank, so chances are equal for all PPP members.
- There are no geographical restrictions either, for members wishing to participate.
How To Get Those Opportunities
There are not fixed time intervals when those opportunities are released, so you have to stay tuned and try to be the first to grab one when it appears in the opportunities list.
Once you managed to take one of the opportunities, you won’t be able to take another one for the rest of the day, but this won’t affect your PPP rankings. It’s just IZEA’s way of making sure that more people have the chance to get one of the goodies.
I can imagine that bloggers who are chasing these fat opps could use a second monitor and a browser refresher 
If you are not an Izea member yet, you should think twice before you join, because you’ll endanger your Google PR and pages indexation. Do not enroll in the program the blogs you care for, or those which make you money from search traffic.
Do You Display Public Service Ads By Google?
As you already know, contextual advertising networks display ads which match the content of a page. What if there are no matching ads in the system?
In such a case, Google AdSense will display Public Service Ads By Google, ads for which you don’t get paid when people click on them. Why would anybody want to put the space on his blog in the community service? If you put AdSense on your blog, I assume you want to make money. And you do make money.
But instead of making money for you, you make it for Google and for the community. OK, I feel sorry for the hurricane victims, but I’m not spending hours every day on building traffic to a website which feeds the poor. I’d better make some money for myself and then donate to the poor if so I wish. You don’t have to spend your nights on link building only to be able to have more donations routing the hurricane victims way via Google.
