Your March Earnings From Our Blogging

Associate-O-Matic

What does a blogger who writes about making money online do in the first day of every month?

Of course, he publishes his earnings from the previous month, so the readers see how much money he made. And most of the time, these are really hilarious. To be proud that you made $20 from AdSense last month, and in the same time to teach people how to make money from AdSense is something beyond common sense and understanding. Being remarkable and being remembered is not about trying to be what you are not, but rather about being yourself and stepping out of the crowd through the things you are and you do.

Find Out How Much I Make So You Can Be Like Me

How do we help you, if we tell you that last month we’ve made $1000 from Text Link Ads, or from AdSense, or from PayPerPost? Do you think that reading our statement will help you earn the same amount next month? No, it will only motivate you to subscribe to those services via our affiliate links and help us to make more money online this month. And if you subscribe and use those services and in one month’s time you get slapped by Google and lose your PR because you’ve written paid posts, are we going to pay your bills? Certainly not.

Do I Have A Head Only To Prevent Raining In My Throat?

Please, don’t believe everything you see. Do you think John Chow has so much traffic because people find his blog useful? No, it is because he pays money to Google AdWords to advertise his blog heavily.

Do you think that X affiliate marketing “guru” makes $50,000 a month out of nothing? No, that’s because he uses PPC, like John Chow does for his blog, and the profit could be $100, or $10, or he may even lose money, in order to maintain his status of “affiliate marketing guru”, so he can sell his worthless ebooks to you, to us, to the people who help him earn the real money.

This trend of “make money while you sleep” or “become an online millionaire over night” has to stop. If you have a blog, if you write good content, if you check your stats 20 times a day and still you don’t get results, please watch this video about the basics of building an online business. After you watch it, if you still think that’s all bullshit and you know better, please find out that this is what Diana and I are doing every single day: get links. Moreover, a big part of my making a living online is getting links for my clients’ websites. Yes, there are people who pay me to get links to point to their sites, because they know how important it is for the search engine rankings.

On the other hand, Diana’s online business can be found in Google for extremely competitive terms. It took her years of getting links in order to achieve this, and it takes her hours every day to maintain it and to further build on it.

Yes, we make money while we sleep, but only after we’ve worked all day before going to sleep. This is how it goes, at least for us. There may be people who are making big money online over night. I don’t know and I don’t want to argue about that. It doesn’t even matter if sooner or later they are going to be exposed as scammers or spammers, or both. Please look at this video on BloggerUnleashed (see the previous link) and read through the comments.

We have a head to use it for thinking. It may happen sometimes that we trust the wrong person, and this is why it is important not to believe so easily everything that we see or hear. Nowadays, it is very easy for anybody to pose on internet in whatever he may like. It would have been a children’s play for me to Photoshop my NeverblueAds check, to add one-two zeros, and to post it here as our March earnings. Or I could have been using my credit card to pay for a $10,000 PPC campaign, make $9,999 income from affiliate programs and post my check in here. You would have seen only the income, not the real profit which would have been -$1. What would have been your next thought? I’m going to start a make money online blog! It’s quick cash!

Why Should I Believe You?

You don’t. We don’t want to preach anything to you. This blog exists because there are too many people who want to do things but they miss the technical skills and the knowledge of where to find the information.

I’ll give you one example: you put AdSense on your blog, you want to play with the ads colors and you don’t know how to obtain custom colors to match your page layout. You come here and in two minutes you discover how to obtain those custom colors for AdSense ads using only free resources. Have we misled you? No. Have we driven you into the illusion that by using what we thought you you’d be richer? No. Have we fulfilled a need you had when you came here? Yes. We gave you the knowledge. It is up to you how you use it.

If you apply this skill you gained from us to blend your AdSense ads with the page layout, and your CTR increases thanks to this, you’ll be earning more already. If you apply it the wrong way, you’ll be losing money. As I said, this is up to you. We are not here to give you advice on what to do to make money blogging.

We are here to show you what’s available, how you can use it, what are the benefits and what are the dangers of each program we mention. If you read our older posts, you’ll see that every time we mentioned writing paid posts or selling links that pass PR, we have warned you that this method is not OK with Google and that you might get your site de-indexed from the search engine. I’ve always said if you want to try it, yes, you can earn some money on short term, but you’ll end up by losing those blogs, so you’d better keep them separate from your really important ones. When I’ve written about making money with the paid-to-post model, I knew exactly what I was talking about, because I’ve tried it. I have this friend of mine who doesn’t have a job, who’s actually starving since several years ago and who is unable to learn even the slightest technical things, because she thinks she’s an artist.

Dumb, you’ll say. Yes, but she now can eat. She can write paid posts, and this is pretty much the only thing she can do.

How To Know Whom To Trust?

This is a tough one. I can only tell you that I trust only one blogger who’s writing about making money online. I don’t trust him because of his words. I trust him because I’ve noticed and admired his work long time before he decided to start blogging about making money online. It was his previous site that made me read his current blog, and if a newcomer would ask me today where to start learning about online money making, I’d send him to BloggerUnleashed without any hesitation. Why? Because what Vic teaches is working. When I discovered his blog, I was already using with success some of the money making methods he’s teaching. His blog confirmed my findings. It’s only I never thought that I can scale it that big. My way of applying it was to get clients and do it for their websites, instead of doing it for my own websites.

Trust facts and not words. Words are not the real thing. Facts are.

Fact is that my cat earned $40 from AdSense in two days, which is more than many “make money online” bloggers made in their first month  . And do you know why? Because thousands cat owners were searching in Google how to give their cats a pill, and my cat was on Google’s first page to fulfill their need. Too bad that at that time there was not a Top 100 make money online list. She would have entered the list, that’s for sure ;)

 You haven’t see me angry yet. I just did some PPC tests lately, and I came to the conclusion that it is impossible to be profitable at very high volumes of investment with the deals which are shown to us, the small fish. So the big ones, either have much better deals, or they lose a lot of money only to show the world how good internet marketers they are.
 And you are a little bit right, I get nervous when I see misleading information which harms people.

Actually this is the reason we’ve started this blog. Maybe if there are more of us speaking out louder, we can cover the others. And the title of our blog should be read with a question mark at the end ;)

More posts like this one will do much to restore the sense of trust that most of us have lost when it comes to making money online. That’s got to be good for everyone - thanks for having the guts to say what needs to be said!

Welcome, Elliott. It’s good that Project Wonderful is not Google AdSense - you can click on the ads you display ;)

My question for you, if it is not to personal. Is how do you attract so many advertisers to your site? Or are they project wonderful ads?

No Elliott, they are not Project Wonderful ads.

Actually one ad belongs to somebody who won a contest we’ve sponsored, and the rest are affiliate banners. I’ll write a post about selling private ads, as we’ve got many questions about that.
